Bracken Bashing + Himalayan Balsam pulling + Walk + Picnic at Clatworthy

Our annual Bracken Brusing event is over 2 days.

Himalayan Balsam pulling is combined with a picnic + Walk + Picnic

• Meet at 10:00 at Syndercombe Lane, Clatworthy Resevoir [link to map] (there are 2 parking areas).  

This is part of a longer term project to encourage the Greater Broomrape (Orobanche rapum-genistae)

We will be working opposite the dam on the far bank [link to map].

We will be driving there from Milverton and leaving at 09:30 so please let us know if you need a lift.

If you are traveling independently you will need to go to Raleigh's Cross [link to map].

Finish time: Should be completed by 15:00 (but you can leave when you like)

Kit required: Gardening gloves and appropriate footwear. 

Bring a packed lunch and a drink if you plan to stay all day.
