Nest Box / Bug Hotel workshop

Usually arranged leading up to Christmas (see below for details)

Location: To be confirmed.

Activity description: MAINLY FOR CHILDREN accompanied by a responsible adult, but responsible unaccompanied adults are welcome.  We will provide a kit and the tools for you to make up a box under the guidance of our helpers. We can also offer advice on the best location for your nest box and the type of birds are likely to use them.

Finish time: Should be completed by 13:00  (usually 3 sessions 10:00, 11:00 & 12:00)

Child friendly: Yes 

Kit required: A payment card to pay for the kits.

Event History: Started in December 2016 we have held it nearly every year since. It is aimed at children who can give this sustainable Christmas gift to a loved one. We will supply all thew material and gudence to make as many Nest Boxes and/or Bug Hotels that you want in three morning 1 hour sessions. Helpers will guide you through the process.

Please note there will be a charge of £8.00 per NEST BOX or £5.00 BUG HOTEL paid on the day to cover our costs of this event and our conservation work throughout the year.
